Frank Ryan – Brief bio & history

Frank Ryan was raised in the Bremerton and Tacoma areas. Frank graduated from East High School in 1961 and was in numerous bands and sang stand ups and special shows with the Whailers, Sonics, Phonics, All Nights, Darvy and DJ and toured with Jim Dandy and the Wayfarers in the 60′s

He is married to the former Marjorie Mills of South Kitsap and between them have 5 kids, 14 grand kids and 4 great grand children. They love to travel, read and enjoy eating out and good clean entertainment.

Frank has been active in community and supported, USO, United Way, Salvation Army and numerous community neighborhood associations and Chamber of Commerce groups over the years.

Franks great grandparents were pioneers in the 1890′ at Edgewood where Gustav and Anna Anderson built homes, did remodels and ran a small truck farm. His granmother and great aunts sold produce at the Puyallup Farmers Market in the 10′s and 20s. Frank has two brothers and a sister all retired and living out of state.

Frank has retired in 2009 from the NW Senior & Boomer News in Portland Oregon, but is still working in new direct marketing ventures. Frank is still active and does consulting work with media folks, advertising agencies, and marketing entites and corporate business. He assists owners of new startups to get proper names for their business ventures and helps locate domain names and brand focus. He offers advice on where to get the best hosting and web site development at affordable pricing!

Frank trains sales and marketing owners, professionals, and media sales people to get higher volumes of business through “ABSOLUTE SERVICE REALLY!” It is a program that teaches the down and gritty practice of real and not virtual service to clients. It is the same method he has used for years to attain success.

In past lives Frank also owned “Talisman Image Development” for seven years, an advertising and public relations firm in Eastern Washington. Frank published “Generations” …a senior publication. Frank has won numerous awards for advertising excellence in the past 20 plus years in Oregon and Washington States, through WNPA and ONPA. (Oregon and Washington Publisher organizations.)
